What first started out as one of MeLo’s signature “GodMix’s” has transformed into a love triangle with none other than the most exotic goddess Sade. Through a rhythmically driven sound scape MeLo creates a meeting point between The Weeknd’s “What you Need” and Drake’s “Marvins Room”. This piece of art was inspired by an array of beautiful eclectic women during a late night studio session in an attic style Berlin apartment. Press play and let the music tell the rest of the story.
Tried to get an mp3 version of this mash up but that attempt was unfruitful. Enjoy one of Melo X’s eclectic artistic conceptualizations.
Another unofficial video for The Weeknd’s “The Morning” from ‘House of Balloons‘. I don’t know why there is no official video but I have my guesstimations. Here is the meaning of the video just in case you think it’s just beautiful girls in cocktail dresses running through the desert.
Them being in the desert = alone in the world
Them in the cocktail dresses = the “front” they put on for the world/the party lifestyle they lead
Them being together = the false reliance on friends
The guy with the water = a man coming to save them from their misery
The negative effect the water gives to her body = they don’t find what they are looking for in a man
Car scene that looks like ‘Inception’ = a false sense of security
The last girl dying in the desert = doesn’t matter if one side steps the other perils they all find the same fate in that lifestyle
