I can’t front, my first Roots show was at the Higline Ballroom series. I wasn’t moved because of several reasons. The guests artists got too much light and I didn’t hear the songs I wanted to. This show I’m posting is quite the opposite. The featured guests, the songs, everything was in place for a classic show. In this clip above Black Though alongside Skillz do Run D.M.C. cover.

Back on my Quest today to buy The Ecstatic once again since I got detoured last night. I’m thinking about going to Target. Anyway here’s Might Mos Def last night on Jimmy Fallon. These are always the best clips to watch of The Roots. Any live performance they do is fire mainly because they are a live performance band. They can alter their performances from show to show & still keep it hot. Gotta get some money up & go see one of these shows pronto.
