Killer Mike speaks about NaS going back on his word and changing the title of his album. Word we all know at the end of the day it was a money move. Go get that I Pledge Allegiance To The Grind II, in stores now.
It’s beautiful to see rappers actually giving back instead of making it rain. Here we have Kille rMike and T.I. doing for there communities and it warms my heart. Mr Grind Time gave out free ice cream for a day in his neighborhood while on the other side of town Tip threw a free barbecue (in bankhead) for his community.
As the Milli verses keep coming this one is welcomed. Killer Mike is taking some serious shots at someone of this track. The standout line to me is this:
I see these fake ass Bloods I keep a tight lip / Cause in the nineties the same niggas was fake Crips.
Now the only cat I knew wearing both rags was this guy.
The good old folks at the Smoking Section have two great posts I just had to borrow. Here he is performing “2 Sides” at Drunken Unicorn in ATL. This song knocks to bumboclaat. Jump in this post with a 30 minute Smoking Section interview where they chop it up about politics, gas prices, “moving as a village” and more.
Killer Mike chops it up with M ass Appeal for an indepth thought provoking interview. The dig into Hip Hop, Politics, Greatest Rappers, F*ckery in OUR people and much more. Definitely worth taking 10 minutes to watch.
