Who says Clifford can’t go to Bankhead. Here’s photos from T.I.’s “What Up/What’s Happening” video shoot in Bowen Homes. Yes I said Bowen Homes. For all of you that’s late that is Shawty Lo’s home. Well it was his home til’ Meatball ran him out. Chess and Checkers man, more pics after the jump.
Grand Hustle member Alfamega is prepping the release of his debut album. Here is a behind the scene Kyte of his photo shoot. Flicks of his new video for “Uh Huh” after the jump.
See what happenes when rappers make peace. Good muf*cking music comes out. I’m still prone to the pop shots cause these two are good at it. Side Note: Does anyone remember the intro track to Chicken & Beer. The hating rapper on it was down with a click called Posse Family Cartel. PFC….PSC, see any similarities?
T.I. revealed his album cover for Paper Trail to MTV yesterday. The album which is slated to hit stores September 9th. As an artist myself I’d have to say this is his best cover to date. I can appreciate an artist that lets the graphic designer room to flew there creative muscle. Here’s what he had to say about the cover.
“We didn’t want to just do a typical cover, especially for my sixth album,” T.I. told us via e-mail. “I wanted to try something a little more different. The illustration for Paper Trail pays an obvious homage to my rekindled affinity for writing my lyrics down as well as displays my commitment to keep my art slanted towards the abstract.”
Well it looks like it’s going to be a real slug fest in sales between The Recession and Paper Trail my Dukes. What do you think about the cover art.
Neow the title of the track disturbed me when I seen it in my inbox today. But I dig music from the Grand Hustle rep. And after a few listens it’s quite catchy.
T.I. hit up 98.3 in Columbus Ga. to talk about Paper Trail. While taking fans calls he get’s clearly upset about his gun charge. He dismissed her pretty quick but real talk, that’s what shooters are for.
Alfamega still on his quest to prove that TI is from Bankhead. With all this lobbying on TI’s behalf Alfa better not drop a dis track towards TIP, ever.
