I think Dame is a wannabe still tryin to take credit for everything that was
a success for rocafella and rocawear. I’m not gonna say that his business sense was not that of a hood genius, but how easy was it when you had albums from Jay z droppin every year. kids around the world was wearing rocawear because they wanted to wear what Jay was wearing not because Dame had some crazy marketing scheme it was just not the case. He contradicts hisself in every interview. I had mad love and respect for him and Biggs when they were with Jay, but now it seems like every move they make and every thing they say is just corny.

I think Dame is just giving his honest opinion. I agree that the new single is by no means the best of Jay. The fact that he is way better then most emcees in their prime allows the track to fly, but thats not the same as saying that its amongst his best.
