While we were stuck in our crap ass jobs over here in the Recession prone U.S. of A., the UK hosted the G.O.O.D. Music Showcase. Just to turn insult to injury, there was a crazy large freestyle cypher including the likes of Kanye West, NaS, Mos Def, Will.I.Am, De La Soul, Consequence, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, Tony Williams & Damon Albarn. All I have to say is, my Friday is set off proper. Enjoi my dukes.
T-Pain is collaborating with damn near EVERYONE nowadays. I have to say though, this one is fire (sorry Goat I know you’re against the Blue Eyed Soul). Enjoi the mellowness of auto tune from 2 of the biggest artists in the game right now.
So that day has finally come my dukes. Your boys are bringing you Thriller!!! The hottest Halloween costume party to touch BK in a long time. I literally almost pissed on myself & choked from laughter when I saw this on SNL this Saturday. Why this dude isn’t in more movies is just crazy to me. Watch as my man Andy Samberg transforms into Ras Trent to make a chune for all the Rasta man dem. RASTAFARIANISM!!!!!!!!!! LOL.
So we finally got our hands on this mixtape which I’m sure is going to be knocking in cars & cribs all throughout the tri-state area. I know I will be killing this at work tomorrow. Let me know what you think my dukes.

This album is shaping up to be on my MUST BUY list for the end of ‘08. Every track has a different vibe but still they work towards the same goal, tying it into the title of the album, Theater of the Mind. Luda recruits the help of Chi-Town’s own Common & BK’s greatest director, Spike Lee (how could he pass down the chance to be on a track named after one of his acclaimed movies???). Take a trip down this psychological roller coaster ride & enjoy the effects my dukes.
As we get nearer to the most important election day of OUR generation & the tenseness of life creeps up on us, I give you this comedic jewel to relieve you from your stress-filled days. He hits a lot of points that we need to pick up on, especially when it comes to this election. Laugh it out my dukes & relax before you go back to your regularly scheduled program (also known as your life).

So it seems these 2 dudes had some sort of under wraps beef that never made it wax (dammit). Ah well, they decided to use their powers for good & collaborate on a track. Watch as they go through a few bangers to find the perfect one. Oh yeah, watch out for the surprise call with Joell Ortiz. If this track comes to fruition, it shall be my favorite until the start of ‘09.
