Go listen to MIDNIGHT MARAUDERS? I have the ‘cassette tapes.’ The words all rubbed out on side # 2. I’m well outside the MTV target age group(17-24) lol. Just having fun with u nonetheless. I happen to be very protective of LUPE since he is amongst my faves. The whole FIASCOGATE I didnt care about since LUPE is entitled to his opinion. People swear ‘DeathCertificate’ was a classic. I would go on radio in Compton and if asked would truthfully tell the audience I could give 2 shits about ICE CUBE’s albums. No classic to me. It would be my opinion (regional bias) lol. Same for LUPE (eventhough its a obvious classic).

The “ignorant” post was a pun of sorts on the “ignorant” Lupe rap. I said I love CD Lupe. Don’t have to google those verses I know the verses and I suggest you go listen to midnight marauders. Lupe owes that man a car. That’s why FiascoGate was such a big deal. Thank you for the feed back S. Mathis! I swear your my favorite!

Based on the comment left underneath this post, I suggest HYMN check the following songs: (#9)’Hip Hop Saved My Life,’ (#10)’Intruder Alert,’ (#11)’Streets On Fire’(#12)’Little Weapon’ – “The COOL” album. That sequence was called the best 4 songs in a row on any album in 2007. I suggest you google the verses, sit down and read along. Nothing Q-TIP about ALBUM LUPE. Nonetheless, THANKS for the terribly worded, ignorantly editorialized post ! New material from the best lyricist in hip hop is always appreciated.
