Mos Def Talks Osama Myth & Govt. F*ckery

So I was extremely late to XXL’s new video player in my hiatus but fugg it I’m here now. On my late night binge I came across this interesting clip of Mos talking about Osama Bin Laden’s whereabouts and his view on the current state of our government. Now I would go into the books (Behold A Pale Horse) or movies I watch (The Zeitgeist, Loose Change, Obama Deception, Etc.) but it’s pointless to. I just enjoy seeing one of my favorite Hip Hop emcee’s share the same sentiments.

Mike Tyson Documentary (Full)

So I finished watching the Mike Tyson documentary last night with my dude Briinx and Frodo Da Don. The auto biopic of one of boxings greatest controversy filled athletes shows so many layers of “Iron Mike” Tyson. Listening to Mike talk about his rough upbringings filled me with empathy for him. This was clearly a young man who was a gentle giant who ended up on a road to being a product of his environment. After being saved by his trainer the late Cus D’Amato, his life soon turned around. While Mikes story is well known it becomes more colorful when you hear it from the man himself. The pride, pain, happiness and disappointment coming from his gives me a new found respect for tone of the greatest boxers to ever step in the ring. It makes me realize how easy we (Black) toss our heroes to the side when they stumble. At the end of the day they are onle extraordinary to some degree. Enough of my yapping my Dukes, enjoy the film.
