Here’s a snippet I spotted at Shake’s spot. The only summer release I’m looking forward to.

This is just a small example of why Nas is the King among Kings, The Emcee among Emcees, the All-Star among All-Stars..etc. Yeah, Jigga may have slick and clever lines but his lyricism don’t feed the soul like a Nas verse. This right here is pure artistry! Queens stand up!!!!

Easy with that NAS stuff. He is an all time great but no emcee has ever put together the catalog of songs, lyrical assaults, and game changing moments as JAY. So, to quote the greatest emcee of all time: “…get your CDs out / lets go / song for song / (he’s) the illest nigga doing it till ya’ll prove me wrong…” BROOKLYN is where they placed KINGS county > queens is where they keep the county of queens. No further explanation needed!!!
p.s. However, this album just went to the top of my most anticipated list, lol.

Take a listen to Black Republican again and listen to how Nas buried Mr. Carter. It’s no comparison. That was a lyrical slaughter. Jigga better kiss the mother@#$%ing ring the next time he’s in the presence of Nas. Show some respect. Brooklyn keeps on taking it, Bronx keeps creating it, Manhattan keeps on making it, and Queens Elevated it!

I give Jay credit…he realized he got outshined on Black Republican so he drops a couple of verses on Success hoping one of them could hang with Nas…

Worst enemies wanna be my best friend
Best friends wanna be enemies like that’s what’s in
    But I don’t give a f*ck
    Walk inside the lions den
Take everybody’s chips, about to cash them in
Up your catalog dawg, mine’s worth to much
Like Mike Jacks ATV pub, Mottola can’t touch
    Let this bitch breathe

On that note…Brooklyn keeps on taking it while Queens elevated it!
