But, people can talk until they are blue in the face but actions are what makes a man and what allows us to see what he's really made of. Hov donated to Columbine yes but he hasn't said anything about Sean Bell, what does that tell you? White people buy albums and "we don't" so why would the fans that look up to him be that important. He provides water for Africa because it's a good thing but also because it's good for business. How many times has philanthropy been in the news from Bill Gates, Warren Buffett even Brad and Angelina adopting African children? The inner city just isn't as good of look to donate to as some far off exotic land. He found time to "diss" a basketball player but not "diss" this system. Why not all the hoopla about the negativity being promoted in this culture we call Hip Hop. With that said these cops should be punished no if ands or buts about it. But, when you have a culture that teaches it's youth to hate the cops and Hip-Hoppers that call their neighborhood "Two man down Flatbush" (reference to two police officers gunned downed in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn) why would you expect an officer to look at young Black Hip Hop influenced men as anything other than criminals. As far as this being his city that's irrelevant, what is relevant is Sean Bell being a human being like him. Not a black or white thing but a human being thing.
