God that freshy was useless… first off it is ALWAYS NAAAAAAAN (pronounce as many A’s as you can) bread, americans, get it right. And the simple and succinct difference between Naan and pitta is that Naan has yoghurt added to the dough to make it rise. Of course the difference between Naan+pitta and normal breads are that they are unleaven and have no yeast added to make them rise, this also means they don’t take much time to prepare. Anyway, enough with the cookery lesson, remember that Naan originated from the Northern and western areas of old India and is now generally defined as a Pakistani bread and also remember to enjoy many NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN’s with your curries.
