Interesting stuff. Makes me happy that I havent entered the APPLE/MAC universe for which there is a costly escape clause.

Translation: If Apple starts signing people say goodbye to CD’s and hello to strictly digital sales, and goodbye bootleggers.

I never thought of that, but it seems logical that the truest way to control bootlegs is a digital-only release. They are far easier to control and trace should a leak occur. Once the album is out its a free for all, but beforehand an album can be controlled to the very minute when it never has to see the inside of a cd manufacturer/distributor. Not to mention all the bombs (viruses) that an artist can plant to thwart internet bootleggers, I would imagine. MACs are not virus proof just not worth the trouble YET. @ MONEY C

ALSO MEANS THAT YOU WILL ONLY B ABLE TO GET NEW MUSIC, IF YOU HAVE AN IPOD… WELL, EVENTUALLY ANYWAY…

Good point HEADBANGER. Nonetheless, they would be fools to cut everyone else off.

Not really it’s called a monopoly.
