Ed Lover Announcing Tupac’s Death At Concert

Crazy thing is I remember this concert but that’s before I had my own bankroll to go and take this stuff in. Do you remember where you were when Pac died I was on my block and this girl Vanessa came outside crying hysterically.

I know it sad when people die, why cry about some one you don’t even know or knew, these rappers and movie stars life aren’t worth more than you own and people need to stop acking like they are…

I remember being shocked upon hearing the news since PAC had survived being shot before. It was assumed that his wounds were not life threatening by most of us. Nonetheless, it didnt affect me in any way beyond the initial surprise. The news of B.I.G’s death was way more shocking and painful. Especially since it happened so shortly after PAC’s passing. I remember feeling like a family member died when I heard the news from Vegas about B.I.G. I literally thought that hip hop was over. It was ’97 and BIG was the biggest artist in rap at the time (at least in my universe) gearing up for the release of probably the most anticipated sophmore album ever in rap (with all due respect to ‘It Was Written’).
