Daily B.S. 10/26/07

Here’s a clip of Wyclefs Performaning Sweetest Girl and No Woman No Cry at S.O.B.’s last week. He had a listening session for his new album Carnival II Memoirs of an Immigrant. He also got his Diplomatic Passport the same day at the e. It’s good to see that there are Hip Hop artists who want to make a change. And now folks the nuwz:

Guess they’re not playing with Esco. Turns out Assembly Man Hakeem Jeffries requested that Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli withdraw the $84 million that New York’s state pension fund has invested in Universal if NaS goes forward with his album titled NIGGA. More at SOHH.

Hooray, the Clipse have left Jive/Star Trak and inked a new deal with Columbia. Let’s hope they left those beats there too.

40/40 sued again, this time by a pregnant woman over not being Sexy.

I respect the Congressman’s approach. Attacking Universal economically is the gangsta move. Whether I agree with his attack on Nas will be based on Nas’ approach to the album and the point he makes for naming the album such a title.

I’m happy for the Clipse as their last album was well worth the $9.99. They need to expand their subject matter but more then make up for it with LYRICS galore.
