L.A. Reid scpffed at reports that Def Jam was not on board with NaS artistic descidion on naming his album NIGGA. “Really, who’d you hear that from?” Reid said, acting as if he were surprised. I personally think that NaS is one of the few artists that can use the term because he understands the struggle and doesn’t buffoon himself like other rappers.
