A classic song from a truly classic album. Tupac got answered on ‘Drop A Gem On Em’, as the Mobb was the only NYC team answering back all that west coast tough talk. Prodigy was amongst the top 3 emcees in the game at this time with lines like this: “…each twin grab a arm/ pick this nigga up/ Nitti turn his face to me & let me wake him up / I throw’em up against the wall & put a whole in his face so big it almost took his whole face off / we got the team positioned / ready for faceoff / we blitz like Dallas in a Superbowl faceoff / and form like niggas in the yard up north…” (Get Dealt Wit – track 10 – ‘Hell On Earth’ 1996). Havoc was in his prime with classic production on everything including a favorite of mines: check G.O.D. Part III.
