Ja Rule Speaks to Complex

Ja Rule Eg

So Loki took time out to speak to Complex about the current state of Hip Hop. He also sheds light on his feelings on 50 and Homo Sexuality. Ja actually makes a great point about the congressional hearing on misognism and violence in rap music:

We need to go step to MTV and Viacom, and lets talk about all these fucking shows that they have on MTV that is promoting homosexuality, that my kids can’t watch this shit. Dating shows that’s showing two guys or two girls in mid afternoon. Let’s talk about shit like that!

I feel Ja on this one. If we can have sh*t on TV giving children the views that homosexuality is ones own right to choose, why cant we give children the options to pour Cristal on women and bust guns.

The institution of marriage, including its rules, come from the Bible (Adam & Eve). That same Bible also states that gay relationships are a no-no, so racism & being against gay marriage is NOT the same thing.@ thePLAGUE

‘came from the bible’ isn’t exactly true. We have laws regarding marriage that have nothing to do with the bible. And you can get legally married in this country without ever stepping foot in a church or having the ceremony performed by a member of the church – unless you are gay. But you know, do what you feel like. If gay people really gross/scare/anger you so much keep on hating. You’ll lose, eventually, and be considered in the same regard as the klan, nazis, and all the rest of the human trash that has been collected throughout history.

The laws you refer to are indeed man made, and you are right about not having to step into a church. Nonetheless, for the majority of Americans marriage is a holy institution that less then perfect human beings mess up at times. That doesn’t mean that it should be granted between two men or two women. I don’t hate gays at all. I’m just not sure that ‘marriage’ is necessary, when there is ‘civil unions’ that grant exactly the same rights without the M-A-R-R-I-A-G-E part spelled out on the form. Hating, discriminating against, or being violent towards gays should all be banned. Marriage just happens to be the part I have trouble getting around.@THE PLAGUE
