Why’d I waste my time?

I wanted to review this album so bad figuring that it would be easy to review. I thought I could just call it trash and keep it moving. Let’s be serious, it is “Crunchy Black.” He’s had a hand in Oscar winners Three 6 Mafia’s hit’s like “Slob on my knob” and the ubiquitous “Stay Fly”, but was always the weakest link of the crew. His solo album came as no surprise. You win an Oscar as a group; why not drop a solo album. Because with song titles like Let’s Plan A Robbery, Suck On The Straw (which features Three Six Mafia chanting {“Eat a nigga dick, eat a nigga dick…”) and Do Da Crunchy Black, it’s clearly not for artistic expression, it’s for the money.

Wow, this dude did not alter any of the preconceived notions that I had. He doesn’t in any way, shape or form, do anything original on this album. Production was ok; it remained true to the typical Three 6 Mafia sound of old school rhythms and heavy use of the drum machine. But, nonsense after nonsense song, not saying anything of relevance really had me pondering, what is the point of this? Every song is about “guns, cars, sex, weed, strippers, paranoia, rims, being at the club, and the word nigger.” This guy really has nothing else to talk about. Trust that every song is about the same thing. I wish I were lying, but I’m not. Again I ask, what is the point of this?

Keep consuming this garbage, it provides fuel for our trip to nowhere. And we really think Barack Obama will be President with representations of ourselves like this floating around?

It’s funny that you post a lot of different things that I would swear people would socially be aware of. But most of the comments go to beef and fuckery and what not.. This right here is the reason artists need to be responsible for the type of music they make and what they make main-stream middle america see. Damn shame

Its dumb, stupid, etc., but its entertaining as hell and the beats are dope. There it is. If you like great beats with ignorant raps, this here’s the sh*t.
