Wise + Wack – Young Wise

I’d send this to a few choice rappers. First I’d start with the 50-11 in my neighborhood then work it world wide. No matter how high MTV ranks Gucci he’d chock on this 2!
Throwback Thursday – Ruff Ryders
Posted by Hymn | Filed under Albums
Do you remember when Ruff Ryder run the rap game ( just like jail ) and Eve made female rappers respectable? Now Eve is/was acting and the Ruff Ryders have disbursed. Disappointment has settled on my face. Drag is trying a comeback, DMX is MMA fighting and Swizz is in US weekly. The game has changed around Jada but one thing remains consistent, Kiss still delivers the perpetual oyster bars.
Bonus’ after the jump.

To get a buzz you must delay your latest project. That’s industry rule number 4084.

Russian Roulette – Joe Budden
Posted by Hymn | Filed under Music

Will there be a Mood Muzik 4? Joe Budden’s infatuation with pain is remarkable. Fans comment cause you put your life on display. Don’t be upset with their respective observations. Take it as a grain of salt. Maybe the comment section on blogs are his fuel. Does Joe Budden have people to contact for interviews and such or do you have to contact him directly?

Cashifornication – Harlem’s Cash
Posted by Hymn | Filed under Music

Harlem’s Cash should be a familiar name by now. Earlier Cash released the first single, “Ground Level” (freestyle over Drake’s “Fear”) from Cash’s new mixtape presented by ThatsEnuff.com & DJ Quiz. Today we decided to release not 1, but 2 more tracks to hold you over until the tape drops Tomorrow. On Real Rap, Real Talk, Cash goes in on Rick Ross’ “Valley of Death” and on “Stank You”, Cash flips Jay-Z’s “Thank You”

Mighta Missed Mondays
Posted by Hymn | Filed under Albums

Good evening Duke’s and Dukettes. Here is a new section from the unstable mind of Hymn; we’ll see how long it last. With the blogosphere going ham with new posts every single day (sometimes hours) I’ve noticed that I’ve missed a couple gems the last couple months. Whether it comes from albums that were released that nobody bought or albums that didn’t pick the right single. This section is for low profile releases that didn’t get enough coverage because a Drake/Lil Wayne leak hit the internet the same or joints that just didn’t pop. I’m talking something you might have been aware of but never paid attention to. This is their spotlight. Every week I’ll be hitting you with a few along with regular posts. Hit me at Hymn@pardonmeduke.com if you have suggestions.
